The President of the Treasury Board isn't giving any hints on what could be included for British Columbians in the upcoming 2013 Federal Budget, expected to come down in March.

Tony Clement heard what's important to locals from the North Vancouver Board of Trade at a roundtable held Friday.

He says part of that discussion included talk about the importance of pipeline expansion to Metro Vancouver ports.

"We talked about the continued need to convey to the population about how important it is that we continue to get our goods and services to new markets.  That means pipelines.  It also means trade relationships."

Clement says he will also be taking concerns expressed at the meeting over the state of BC’s film industry to Ottawa.

"We did have a little bit of a discussion about trying to do a better job of coordinating various tax credits and expenditures across the country."

But British Columbians who were expecting large spending commitments in the budget will be disappointed. Clement says the feds continue to focus bringing the deficit down.
