As May gets closer, BC's political parties continue to try and get candidates named in each of the Province's 85 ridings.
The New Democrats are leading the way with candidates either nominated or acclaimed in 72-ridings.
The Liberals are trailing just behind with 64 candidates in place so far.
However, both the NDP and Liberals are saving some of the bigger names for big nomination events closer to Election Day, like Premier Christy Clark in Vancouver-Point Grey.
The BC Conservatives say they have some 30 candidates in place with about another 30 or so to be named soon.
Don't forget the BC Greens, they have 40 candidates in place. But they won't be running a full slate as they have announced they won't be running candidates against any of the four independent MLA's in BC.
