BC's Criminal Justice Branch has lost its bid for a harsher sentence for two Stanley Cup rioters.
Crown lawyers had argued that Alexander Peepre's 60 days in jail, and Lincoln Williams' 90 days were too lenient.
Peepre had helped overturn a truck during the June 2011 chaos, and later punched a man.
Williams was one of the 'ringleaders' in the violence: vandalizing, overturning and burning the truck, and confronting police.
The BC Court of Appeal has ruled the sentences for both were appropriate.
