Premier Christy Clark's biggest rival for the Vancouver-Point Grey seat in May's provincial election officially cut the ribbon at his new Broadway campaign office Sunday afternoon.
BC NDP candidate David Eby held a small gathering with a couple of dozen supporters to symbolically signal the beginning of his bid to send Christy Clark packing out of Vancouver-Point Grey -- but played down the idea he could be the favourite given the premier's unpopularity.
"One of the interesting descriptions I've heard is that Christy Clark feels like she's an underdog which is amazing to me. She's got all the resources and the money."
Eby narrowly lost out to Clark for the seat during a 2011 byelection, falling short by just 564 votes despite spending about $20,000 less.
