A Nanaimo Mountie has died suddenly.
Police say when 27-year-old Constable Willi Tung Chou failed to report to work last monday, officers when to check on him and found him dead in his home, the victim of a sudden brain aneurism.
Chou graduated from the RCMP training depot in Regina in 2012, and had been working in Nanaimo for the past 13 months.
RCMP officers will march to St. Paul's Anglican church on Chapel Street on Wednesday morning for a private celebration of his life.
