BC Conservative leader John Cummins says the party has left its internal battles in the past and will field a strong slate of candidates in the provincial election.
Cummins says there's always some "elbowing" in what he calls a new party.
"It was to be expected but the fact is we survived that, we put our nose to the grindstone during that period and bore down and did a lot of the background work that i think will bear fruit as the election goes forward."
Cummins announced seven new candidates today and expects to have nominees in 83 of bc's 85 ridings.
