Fire investigators are on scene at a home in Surrey.
Crews were called to 167A Street near 83rd Avenue around 4AM.
Battalion Chief Tom Morgan says they arrived to find flames tearing through the roof.
"It was a tiled roof and the roof was starting to collapse and some of the tiles were coming down. So at first to try and do an interior tact the firefighters were forced to leave the building and knock the fire down from the outside," says Morgan.
Everyone escaped from the home unhurt.
