Some tough talk from the union representing transit supervisors in Metro Vancouver.
The president of CUPE Local 4500 says there's no accountability anymore at Translink and his members are "frustrated."
"It's not real good times for the public transit sector in Metro Vancouver."
Rob woods who represents transit supervisors says the structure needs fixing.
"We talk to management at Coast Mountain Bus Company they point up to Translink, Translink points down to Coast Mountain or up to the Mayor's Council the Mayor's Council points both ways ya know there's just no accountability any more."
Woods also says his members are working through breaks a lot of the time and the stress level is at an all-time high because of what he calls "unreasonable workloads."
He adds his members feel like they've been "slapped in the face" after learning Translink staff are getting free coffee.
"It's really hurtful to our group our membership and it's insulting people are enjoying those benefits at the cost on the backs of people losing their jobs."
Also cafeterias have been closed at the transit depots in Burnaby and Vancouver where bus drivers and others would congregate.
"We enjoy the benefit of having an outlet to interact with other employees other bargaining units and touch base."
The cafeterias were closed because they were losing money.
