RCMP say the driver involved in the Surrey car crash that killed five people in the same family last month has died.
Daniel Gore, a 46-year-old Langley man, had been in hospital with serious injuries since the collision eight days ago.
Police say he died of a pre-existing brain condition. Investigators were not able to speak with him before his death.
On Friday, hundreds of people turned out to remember the five members of the Sachdeva family – three women and two young children.
Police believe their Toyota was broadsided by the 46-year-old's minivan at 176 Street and 32 Avenue.
