Voters can begin casting advanced ballots on Wednesday for next week's provincial election.
Elections BC spokesperson Don Main says advanced voting stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until this Saturday.
Main says poll stations saw an increase in the number of people casting voters ahead of time in the 2009 election.
"Advanced voting is available to all British Columbians. In order to receive a ballot, you do need to have ID. If people are not registered to vote, they can register when they go to vote. And if their information is not correct on their yellow “Where to Vote” card, they can update their voter registration when they go to vote."
British Columbia’s 40th general election arrives next Tuesday, May 14.
