The Transportation Safety Board says a disrupted fuel flow is likely to blame in the crash of a helicopter fighting a forest fire northwest of Lillooet in July of 2010.
The helicopter lost power, came down hard and flipped.
The two pilots suffered only minor injuries.
Investigators found that the engine fuel control unit was contaminated with metallic debris, which likely disrupted fuel flow and caused the engine to lose power.
