It’s not the big celebration NDP supporters in Chilliwack-Hope were planning for tonight. Instead it’s a somber mood at a local restaurant where supporters await the arrival of the incumbent Gwen O’Mahoney. Ian Masland, an NDP supporter says he is in shock as the numbers roll in tonight. Masland believes NDP voters simply did not show up at the polls because they are fed up with the Liberal perspective. Gwen O’Mahoney is expected to give a speech in the next few hours.
