Former Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan celebrated with his supporters after taking the win in the Vancouver-False Creek riding for the Liberals. While enjoying his win, Sullivan said he is just as thrilled that so many other liberal candidates made it over the bar too. He attributes the parties success to leader Christy Clark and stated that "her hard work - her perseverance dedication it's a truly remarkable thing and I'm honoured to be part of the team" Sullivan said that he has many unfinished projects from when he was mayor of Vancouver, but realizes that you don’t just jump in to provincial politics, you take your time working with the team.
