A surprise guilty plea from the man accused of harassing canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen.
Christopher David Long was slated to make a brief court appearance in Abbotsford for an arraignment hearing, but he's pleaded guilty to charges of mischief and possession of stolen property.
The 25-year old was arrested last year after it was learned someone hacked into Jepsen's computer and was trying to exploit her.
Jepsen is performing in Chicago, so she's not available for comment, but her manager says she may release a statement closer to when Long is sentenced in September.
The 'Call Me Maybe' singer from Mission recently won the Billboard Music Award for top digital song artist.
