Unionized Support Staff in schools around the province are in the midst of voting on strike action.
Miriam Pulsifer is president of CUPE Local 15, which represents workers in the Vancouver School District.
She says, "We're trying to get all the K-12 sectors to get their strike votes in so we're all prepared to take strike action come fall."
Her Local has already voted 86 per cent in favour of job action, and she believes the rest will follow suit.
She adds, "We're all on the same page. we want to take a co-ordinate action when we do take action."
She says the workers haven't had a wage increase since 2009 -- and want the same deal as other education unions.
