A man once called Surrey's most wanted criminal is now in prison.
Malakias Swales has been sentenced to a total of 15 years stemming from numerous drug and weapons offences.
Back in 2006, the Mounties in Surrey said he was one of the city's primary drug traffickers.
That's when police seized more than $2 million worth of drugs, cash and banned weapons from him.
He evaded capture until June 2007 when he turned himself in.
He was convicted last May of 26 charges.
