The proposal going before council hopes to make improvements to the Adanac bikeway on the outskirts of Chinatown.
It calls for the removal of some parking spaces along the 200 block of Union Street.
"Once again Vision Vancouver appears to be ramming through a bike lane faster than I think the neighborhood is ready and it's really frustrating to see that because I don't want to see another battle between cars and bikes like we saw with the Hornby bike lanes and Dunsmuir."
To offset the loss, the plan calls for 50 parking spaces to be added on Main Street.
