A Vancouver Sikh temple is in mourning after one of its members died tragically at 9 a.m.
An 80 year old woman was getting ready for a once-a-year trip to Harrison Hot Springs which the Ross Street Temple organizes for its seniors.
Temple President Sohan Deo says the woman was halfway inside the charter bus when it started to roll.
"She was just trying to get in and the bus moved back. The door was open and the bus started moving back, quite -- really fast. She was dragged about 10, 15, 20 feet," Deo says.
Paramedics treated the woman, but she died on the way to hospital.
Police are investigating this incident -- three others also suffered minor injuries.
