One of Vancouver's opposition councillors says Vision Vancouver's avoiding making the tough decision on the future of the city's viaducts.
The NPA's George Affleck accuses Vision of waffling, "Clearly this is an election issue to Vision Vancouver. They have been championing this and now suddenly they are afraid to say 'yes' or 'no' and so they're making it an election issue by avoiding making the tough decision. Which to me is ironic because two weeks ago they talked about being brave. Well, now is the time for Vision to be brave and make a decision. They can do it, make the decision."
Mayor Gregor Robertson admits the case for taking down the viaducts keeps getting stronger.
