Three cases of measles have popped up on the North Shore and Bowen Island.
But Doctor Patricia Daly with Vancouver Coastal Health says there's no "outbreak" and no cause for alarm.
"These three cases are linked to one another. We would be more concerned if we had cases of measles popping up that had no obvious links, cause that would indicate that there was transmission occuring in the community that was more than we knew about."
The Health Authority put out a notice to doctors asking to be notified immediately if more cases come to light, but there is no community wide outbreak.
Symptoms include fever and a bad rash.
