It is the landlords call, that from the RCMP after media were paraded through the basement suite belonging to a pair or suspected terrorists.
Sergeant Peter Thiessen says allowing media into the basement suite does not affect the police investigation.
"Well we are well aware of the steps the landlord took to allow access to the media to that suite. That is not a decision that we are involved in but our interest in that suite is completed. We conducted our investigation there and at this point it is turned over to the landlord to take further control of that suite."
Thiessen says the RCMP aren't bothered by media tromping through the suite.
"We as a policing agency have no issues with it, it is not impacting our investigation at all."
As for the overall investigation into the plot to detonate bombs at the legislature, Thiessen says "Well the investigation is moving forward. It is not before the courts and preparations are underway for that process so there is nothing further that we can comment on publically at this point."
The BC Civil Liberties Association says bomb plot suspects John Nuttall and Amanda Korody's rights as tenants were violated by the landlords and media.
