The search for a missing mother of two from Burnaby has been expanded.
Police have been looking for 30 year old Susan Mitchell since shortly after 9am yesterday when her two boys woke up and couldn't find her.
They alerted a neighbour who called 911.
Investigators say she has no criminal record and no history of mental illness, but they're calling this a high risk situation because she's never left her children unattended.
They're asking anyone who knows Mitchell to contact the RCMP.
Neighbours say she's a good mother, but she often seems sad.
The boys are in the government's care while arrangements are made to place them with family.
