The Wreck Beach Bare Buns run aims to fight bullying by baring all on Sunday.
The 5K run is being dedicated to Amanda Todd, the Port Coquitlam teen who took her own life last fall after she was bullied online.
Judy Williams, the chair of the Wreck Beach Preservation Society, says bullying stems from body image issues in society.
"We truly believe that Amanda Todd wouldn't have felt the need to commit suicide if there had been general body acceptance, so that no one could use photographs of her naked body to try to shame her."
The event extends south of the border with two more naturist runs taking place in Washington state.
