It's expected to be a marathon meeting Monday night when a casino proposal goes before Surrey Council.
City staff estimate more than one hundred people will want to speak on the issue.
Mayor Dianne watts believes the meeting will drag into the small hours of Tuesday morning.
"I'll take one individual to come forward from the opposing position, and one to come forward for the supporting position and alternate that way."
Watts says she hasn't taken a position on the proposal, which would see a 100-million dollar casino and entertainment complex built near 10th Avenue and 168th street.
"I want to hear from the general public, I want to hear from both sides -- what the concerns are -- and then I'll make my decision."
