Fresh off of plucking licensed practical nurses from the Hospital Employees Union the BC Nurses union has launched another raid.
Health Sciences Association President Reid Johnson says the BCNU is trying to grab about 60 registered psychiatric nurses at Royal Columbian Hospital.
"The BCNU has raided our members that work there who are registered psychiatric nurses so we've objected to the nurses application for those members at the Labour Board and so we are hoping to hear in the next month what the Labour Board's ruling is on the legality of the raid."
Johnson says the nurses have already voted but a count won't done until the Labour Board ruling.
He says the HSA has represented registered psychiatric nurses for decades.
