Unionized workers for the stadium's operator, the BC Pavilion Corporation, say they are keeping up their job action to try and get their employer back to the table.
Karen Tankard, with the BC Government and Services Employees Union, says the strike is so, far, going on indefinitely, "We have offered BC Place management the opportunity to come back to the bargaining table to do informal mediation, and at this point, we have heard nothing back from them so, the ball is in their court."
The sticking points for the 500 workers are job security, wages and contracting out.
Tankard says at this point, the job action is not expected to affect any upcoming events at BC Place.
