There will not be a code of conduct investigation into Vancouver city councilors Adriane Carr.
That from the mayor's office.
An e-mail statement says the mayor prefers to resolve the issue more informally and without a third party.
It says on Friday, Robertson reached out to Carr to organize a meeting with councilor Geoff Meggs to discuss the complaint.
The mayor hopes a sensible resolution can be reached.
Meggs had asked for Carr to be investigated for violations of the code of conduct.
This came after Carr accused city manager, Penny Ballem of going outside her jurisdiction when Ballem quashed a motion by Carr.
The motion asked staff to look into the financial implications of the Park Board's plan to take over control of community centres' collection of revenue.
