CKNW's Bill Good has been named the winner of the RTDNA "Lifetime Achievement" award.
The award is handed out by Canadian radio, television, and digitial news directors.
Good's career started back in 1965, fresh out of high school, covering local news and sports in Prince Rupert.
Other stints included CFAX radio in Victoria, hosting Hockey Night in Canada on CBC, and anchoring at BCTV and CTV.
Bill joined CKNW as a talk show host in 1988.
During his career, Bill has interviewed the "who's who" of the Canadian business community, newsmakers, celebrities and politicians at every level and stripe, including Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and every Prime Minister following him.
