The sister of an 18-year-old murdered woman from Mission says she is overwhelmed by the support her family has received.
Brittany Pernosky and her family are out at the cemetery today, picking out a plot.
It's been six days since Rachel Pernosky's body was found down a hillside in Chilliwack.
Brittany says it was 'incredible' to see the huge turnout at a vigil last week in Mission's Heritage Park to remember her younger sister.
"I mean, I don't think Rachel really knew how much she was loved, but, I mean, she knows, now."
She adds many people have been donating to a trust fund for Rachel's one-year-old son, Marco.
Rachel went missing March 16th, and was found dead four days later.
Homicide investigators have said they have no suspects, and that the results of an autopsy will not be released.
