A Port Alberni man is facing two counts of attempted murder after police say he purposefully plowed his truck into a house.
RCMP say the man and his friend were walking by the Port Alberni home when the friend got into a fist fight with two men drinking on the front lawn.
Mounties say the 19-year-old left the scene for help, but instead returned with his pick-up truck.
RCMP believe he intentionally smashed into the porch as an act of revenge over the fight.
When mounties arrived on the scene one victim was still pinned under the truck and the suspect and his friend had run away.
Police dogs tracked the men down.
Mounties say both men have at least a broken leg, while a woman inside the home has two broken legs, a broken hip, pelvis and punctured lung.
She will be in hospital for at least a month.
