A pilot is recovering in hospital after his ultra light crashed in a Surrey field this morning.
Police say the aircraft went down because of a mechanical failure and landed near King George Boulevard and Colebrook Road.
The pilot escaped by deploying his parachute, but he hurt his leg and was taken to a local hospital.
