On a day when the NDP is trashing the Liberal government's budget, Moody's Investor Service is praising it.
The agency has re-affirmed BC's triple-a credit rating after reviewing the budget, crediting strong fiscal management and a below-average debt.
Still, Moody's has retained a "negative" outlook for BC given the recent growth in the debt, saying it will return to "stable" if the government can meet its fiscal targets and reverse that trend.
