The son of a Surrey man fatally hit by a speeding Corvette four years ago calls it a "joke" that the driver found guilty is seeking a new trial.
83-year-old Pritam Benning died in hospital a few days after he was mowed down while waiting for the us.
His son, Manjit, is furious that Gurjit Dhillon is trying to appeal his conviction.
"I just think he just doesn't want to take responsibility for what he did. In court, he claimed he was so remorseful and now he doesn't want to do the time."
Dhillon was sentenced just days ago to one year in jail and a five-year driving ban. The 28-year-old has been granted bail.
