Vancouver Police say they are looking into allegations that a woman was injured during an arrest on the Downtown Eastside.
Officers responded to a disturbance at the West Hotel on Wednesday.
They say they arrested a woman for breach of the peace, took her to jail and let her go the next day.
Allegations later surfaced that police hurt her wrist during the arrest.
The VPD says it is conducting an internal review, adding the woman has not made a formal complaint yet.
BC's Independent Investigations Office is not involved.
