An estimated 200,000 people are celebrating Vaisakhi in Surrey today, and Premier Christy Clark is among them.
Premier Clark said a few words to a crowd on 128th Street, but was less keen to answer whether she's received any criticism from attendees about the ethnic voting scandal today.
"You know, people here today are not talking politics. They're talking about all the things that we share and the values that we share in common."
NDP leader Adrian Dix and BC Conservative leader, John Cummins are also making appearances as all parties attempt to woo voters ahead of May's provincial election.
