Young love in Abbotsford has resulted in the family car being impounded and a boy to young to drive being handed big fines.
RCMP say they busted the 15 year old roaring down highway one in a 2008 Cadillac on Highway One near Bradner Road.
The caddy was doing 175 kilometres an hour on the highway where the limit is 100.
Police pulled the car over.
The boy told officers he swiped the family car to meet a young girl he had recently met on a school trip.
He told officers he was speeding to get home before mom and dad noticed the car was missing.
The car has been impounded for seven days and the boy given 759 dollars worth of tickets, including driving without a licence.
The worst part, other than telling the parents: the meeting with the young lady "didn't go as hoped."
