Telus is warning its customers to look out for a scam.
The company says someone is using its name to trick people in B.C. and Alberta into giving up their money or personal information.
Telus says a recorded phone call comes in, saying ‘Thank you for choosing TELUS,’ and offers a free vacation for being a good customer.
Then the live person comes on, asking for your information.
Telus says there's been a sudden spike in the scam calls, and advises people to just hang up.
