RCMP have concluded their search of Brentwood Mall -- no explosives were found.
Regional Duty Officer Tim Shields says a bomb threat was called in during the lunch hour and they proceeded with an abundance of caution.
"Members of the Burnaby RCMP responded as well as Brentwood Mall security - and currently were condicting a sweep of numerous areas inside the mall looking to see if there is any substance to this claim."
Shields says dog teams specializing in detecing explosives assisted in the search.
