It's his last day on the job and the Transportation Commissioner has issued his final report, pointing out the need for more funding if the transit system is to expand.
In his report Martin Crilly says it's now apparent that funding constraints have put further system expansion on hold for the unforeseeable future.
He says "if" new funding sources are found, it will take time to gear-up and deliver the expansion.
One of the keys he says is pricing - who pays how much and how they do it. Crilly says collecting intelligence on customers' perceptions will be important over the coming months as Translink introduces the new fare gates and the Compass card.
