The BC Conservative Party says they may go to court to fight an Elections BC decision to strike the party name on the ballot beside the name of four candidates.
One of those candidates, Vancouver-Quilchena Conservative Bill Clarke, says Elections BC is giving him a raw deal.
"We came into this as BC Conservatives and we got all our papers signed on that basis and the district electoral officer signed them on that basis too."
Campaign Chair Rick Peterson admits a form was overlooked but adds the Conservatives name was all over candidates' paperwork.
"Not only is it implied there is a certificate, again, a testing that his receipt of application included in which his clear affiliation with the BC Conservatives is there."
Peterson says the party will go to court tomorrow if Elections BC doesn't change its mind.
