He supports both the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline and Kinder Morgan's proposed expansion of the Trans Mountain Pipeline.
But there's one project John Cummins isn't so quick to jump completely behind.
The BC Conservative leader says he has a couple of concerns about a proposal for jet fuel to be brought up the Fraser River in tankers to a terminal near Riverport.
The fuel would travel through a pipeline to the airport in Richmond -- but Cummins says the pipeline isn't one of his concerns.
"The issue is the large storage facility that is on the riverbank, just far, far too close to residences along the river."
Cummins says he's also concerned about transferring the fuel from tankers to barges on the water.
He'd want those issues addressed before anything moved ahead.
