With the provincial election only two days away, the leader of the NDP was looking to rally support from film workers in Vancouver.
When Adrian Dix's campaign bus pulled into the soundstage at the Vancouver Film Studios, it seemed like a scene from the movies.
The crowd of close to one thousand people went wild cheering and chanting for Dix.
Pete Mitchell, the COO of the Vancouver Film Studios, says there were a lot of film industry workers in the audience.
Mitchell says they are looking for Dix to increase tax credits for the film industry to help bring jobs back to BC.
Adrian Dix told the crowd of almost one thousand that he wants to create more jobs.
"You know, we know, that we have the best crews in North America. And all they require is a level playing field and we will compete and we will win and we will bring jobs to British Columbia."
Meanwhile, Liberal leader, Christy Clark says the momentum over the last few weeks has been really good, and says it continues to grow.
"My sense is that British Columbians are really focused on the economic questions that are there and I think increasingly feeling a deep sense of concern about the NDP's plan to grow government."
Clark says she's confident the Liberals can win the election. She adds they need to make sure everyone who can vote, gets out and casts a ballot.
She was speaking at a Mother's Day picnic in Richmond, Sunday afternoon.
