A Surrey man has beaten the odds in a big way, holding not one but two winning tickets for the latest Lotto 6/49 jackpot.
Harry Black won more than a month ago, but has just now stepped forward to claim his $31.7 million prize.
BC Lotto Corp. spokesperson Chris Fairclough says they've never seen one winner holding two winning tickets.
"Harry has a unique way of picking his tickets. He always purchases two tickets with the exact same numbers. Hence, he picked this set of tickets with two numbers and it finally paid off for him after 30 years."
The lucky 66-year-old says he will use the money to take his first-ever vacation, and go around the world.
