Three weeks after the fact and the last riding has finally been decided in the provincial election.
The NDP's Selina Robinson says a mandated judicial recount is over and she is the official MLA for Coquitlam-Maillardville, "I got a phone call earlier this evening from Steve Kim, a concession phone call, and he was very gracious. I let him know that I was pleased that he stepped up to participate in the democratic process and the residents of Coquitlam-Maillardville made their choice. Although, it would have been 'way easier, I think, on both of us, if we had some clarity on election night."
Robinson says she is not sure what the margin of victory was.
She expects Elections BC to officially reveal the numbers soon.
On election night, Liberal Steve Kim won, but a recount put Robinson ahead by a mere 35 votes triggering the judicial recount.
