Mounties are looking for a hit-and-run driver after a young boy was struck in Surrey.
Cpl. Bert Paquet says the youngster was hit around 3 p.m. at 92 Avenue and 161 Street. He is unsure of the boy’s exact age.
“The young boy has been transported by air ambulance to an area hospital with what is described as severe head injuries."
Police are now looking for a newer model, four-door silver Mercedes, with tinted windows and large stock rims.
Paquet says the vehicle may be damaged on the right side with a broken light.
The driver was seen fleeing the area eastbound on 92 Avenue.
