BC's Finance Minister is promising no surpises when February's provincial budget hits the table in the Legislature.
In the budget, which has not been passed yet, was a pledge to sell of about 100 surplus properties to help balance the books.
Finance Minister Mike de Jong was asked if they are making progress on the goal to generate some 800-million dollars this fiscal year, as planned.
"Well we will have the update and the news there will confirm that the budgeted amounts were realistic and that we are realizing on those targets."
De Jong says the budget blue print remains unchanged, with the province balancing the books, and projecting a modest surplus.
The budget will be tabled for debate and a vote in the Legislature June 27th.
