The father of a five-year-old boy says his son continues to recover, one week after a hit and run in Surrey.
Arshdeep Sidhu was struck at 161st Street and 92nd Avenue last Friday.
He was walking home from school at the time.
His father, Aman, says he's not walking yet.
But the little boy has been talking a little and eating too.
Sidhu says an MRI has shown some injuries to his son’s brain.
"They said they can't do anything for that. There's no need of surgery or anything like that, but it will heal by itself."
Sidhu says Arshdeep is expected to fully recover, but it will take some time.
He says on Tuesday, they will learn if Arshdeep gets to go home, or has to go to rehabilitation.
