If you're out at UBC today, you might hear screams for help and gunshots.
It's the RCMP and Vancouver police holding emergency response drills on the university grounds.
As many as 200 responders, mock victims and witnesses are taking part.
Officers will be in full uniform and simulated gunfire might be heard inside some of the buildings.
Police, fake victims and witnesses will also send out social media alerts as part of the exercise – to be disregarded.
It's happening around Agronomy and Main Mall roads from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
