A motorcyclist has died after slamming into a car in Surrey.
It happened just before 1:00 a.m. as the biker was heading east on 88 Avenue when he hit the rear of the westbound car as it was turning left onto 150 Street.
RCMP are investigating speed -- on the part of the biker -- as a possible factor in the crash.
No name has been released. The woman at the wheel of the car was not injured.
Mounties are also looking into a crash where both the driver and passenger fled the scene, around 8 a.m. on 88 Avenue near 152 Street.
Witnesses say an SUV lost control, hit a hydro pole and crashed into a fence.
By the time police arrived, no one was in the car.
Police say the men are described as South Asian, and one may have an arm injury.
