Police say thieves are once again finding easy targets in cars across West Vancouver.
The department says it’s received 27 reports of theft from a vehicle since the beginning of the month.
That includes five reports from Sentinel Hill and Cedardale and another five from the British Properties above Taylor Way.
They say the thieves aren't exactly criminal masterminds. Far too many have been able to just open an unlocked door and help themselves to the goodies inside.
Police say even if you lock your vehicle, loose change, electronics, sunglasses or anything of perceived value is an open invitation for a break-in.
About 240 thefts from automobiles have been reported across West Vancouver so far this year.
